Need a good idea? Then come to me. But what do I mean by that?
Conference organisers, corporates and PR companies often approach me for help with brainstorming as well as sense-checking and honing existing ideas.
I have many years’ experience in curating conferences, such as World Travel Market’s social media and start-up streams, Travel Technology Europe as well as advising on the content for the Business Travel Show. I have also put together day events, breakfast meetings, workshops and roundtables.
What does that entail? The first step is to come up with the overarching theme that can turn the head of a potential delegate or exhibitor, tapping into what will be on the agenda six months or a year down the line. Then coming up with a mixture of sessions – from keynotes and panels to more innovative formats such as Pecha Kucha or fishbowl – that will appeal to the demographics of your desired audience and leave them informed, educated and ready to implement ideas in their own organisations.
I have also helped organisations put together workshops and round tables. If you want to come up with a client event or engage with new prospects, I can come up with ideas that can help you do that.
Other things I can help you with is coming up with innovative ideas or to improve your own existing ideas. PR companies often hire me for a morning to brainstorm to help with pitching to new clients. If you need consultancy on social media or technology, that is something I can do too.
